Daughters of Charity Province Leadership Gathering 2022

20-22 September 2022, Sr Ellen Flynn (Provincial and thirty Sisters from the Province Leadership Team gathered at Wistaston Hall, the OMI Retreat and Conference Centre near Crewe. In those beautiful autumnal days we discussed among many topics: Aged Care, the Charism Now and in the Future, our new Mission Heart initiatives in Adelaide and Glasgow, Safeguarding, the Cost of Living and our Province Teams. It was also a great IT challenge as we connected across Zoom with four of our Sisters in Australia and Sr Julie Kubasak DC, from our Mother House in Paris, for her input on Charism and Vision. It was wonderful too to celebrate Eucharist and pray and socialise together. We also had the added joy of having our “Vincentian brother” Fr Paul Roche CM accompanying us throughout the session.
