A Month with St Vincent de Paul

September 11, 2025

Readings and REFLECTIONS FROM FR ROBERT MALONEY CM

Fr Robert Maloney CM writes about his latest written work. “This book has a simple purpose: to invite you to spend time at home with Saint Vincent de Paul. Few saints are more relevant today. A friend of mine, now deceased, often told me how much he admired what the Jesuits have done with Saint Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises. Over four centuries, they have used their founder’s writings as a month-long series of meditations to immerse their own members, and countless others, in Ignatius’ spirit. “The Vincentians should try something like that,” my friend challenged me. He added, persuasively: “I can hardly think of a saint who is more attractive than Vincent de Paul. Here is my modest attempt.”

This book is available on Amazon and is a great resource both for local communities and individuals.
