Sr Theresa celebrates in Coatbridge

On Saturday, 14th September 2024 in St James' Catholic Church, Coatbridge - Sr Therea Tighe celebrated 50 years as a Daughter of Charity in the parish where she grew up. Her celebratory Mass was concelebrated by Fr Paul Denney Parish Priest, Fr Paul Roche CM Provincial Director and Fr Jim Clarke SX from the Conforti Centre. Nearly two hundred people gathered in the church comprising of family members, Daughters of Charity, friends and parishioners. Afterwards there was a lovely meal served in the adjoining parish hall. Sr Ellen Flynn, Provincial, gave a congratulatory speech which focused on Sr Theresa's commitment and presented a beautiful orchid plant to her symbolising the joy of this special occasion.
